Fall in Vermont means colorful foliage, crisp mountain air, live music, and plenty of reasons to get outside. On Saturday, September 26th, 2026, one of Killington’s favorite autumn traditions returns as the Killington Brewfest celebrates its 30th anniversary at the Pico Mountain Base Area. Bringing together craft beverages, live entertainment, local vendors, and the scenery of the Green Mountains, the festival offers a full afternoon of fall festivities during one of the most beautiful times of year in Vermont.
The 2026 Killington Brewfest will feature more than 100 beer and beverage tasting options, with breweries and cider makers from around Vermont and New England represented throughout the festival. Participating producers include Long Trail Brewing Company, Fiddlehead Brewing Company, Switchback Brewing, Zero Gravity, von Trapp Brewing, Rutland Beer Works, Stowe Cider, Cold Hollow Hard Cider, Champlain Orchards, Black Flannel Brewing, and more. Along with craft beer, guests can expect cider, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options as they explore the festival grounds.
General Admission tasting runs from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., while VIP ticket holders can enter an hour early for a special tasting session beginning at noon. General Admission and VIP tickets include a commemorative tasting glass and a 10-punch sampling card. VIP guests also receive additional perks, including access to a VIP lounge with light fare, exclusive beers, indoor bathrooms, and a commemorative gift. Designated Driver tickets are also available, making it easier for groups to plan a safe trip to and from the festival.
Beer may be the headline attraction, but the Killington Brewfest is about more than what is being poured. Live music will fill the Pico Mountain Base Area throughout the event, with New England-based psychedelic soul and funk group Terrafunk bringing an energetic performance to the festival. Guests can settle in with a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy the music, explore the vendor village, and take in the surrounding fall foliage.
Local makers and food vendors will add even more Vermont flavor to the day. The 2026 vendor lineup includes businesses such as Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company, Waffle Cabin, Benitos Hot Sauce, Fox Glove Farm Gifts, Spirit of VT Woodworks, Chimera Meats, and others. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the venue.
This year’s celebration also includes more family-friendly elements, allowing visitors of different ages to experience the festival atmosphere and Vermont’s fall scenery. Guests ages 20 and younger may enter with a valid ticket, although alcoholic beverages are strictly limited to attendees 21 and older. Children ages 15 and under can receive free entry tickets.
Getting around the Killington area during Brewfest will also be easier thanks to event shuttle service. Shuttles are scheduled to operate from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., connecting Pico Mountain with Killington Road, the Killington Grand Hotel, and condos along East Mountain Road. Guests who plan to drink are encouraged to use the shuttle or arrange for a designated driver.
Because most of the festival takes place outdoors, visitors should prepare for Vermont’s unpredictable fall weather. Comfortable footwear, layers, jackets, sunscreen, and other essentials are worth bringing along. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome, and the event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. Guests should also keep in mind that re-entry is not permitted once they leave the Brewfest venue.
For three decades, Killington Brewfest has brought craft beer fans together in the Green Mountains, and its 30th anniversary offers another chance to experience the tradition. With dozens of breweries and beverage producers, more than 100 tasting options, live music, local vendors, and Pico Mountain surrounded by fall colors, the 2026 Killington Brewfest is shaping up to be a highlight of the autumn season in Killington.
