The Killington Chili Cook-Off is back on Thursday, August 6th, 2026, bringing one of the area’s tastiest summer traditions to the K-1 Base Lodge. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, locals and visitors alike can sample a variety of unique chili recipes while enjoying live music, community spirit, and beautiful mountain views. Now celebrating its 13th year, the Killington Chili Cook-Off features local restaurants, home cooks, and chili enthusiasts competing for bragging rights and several awards, including Best Restaurant Chili, Most Original Chili, Best Vegetarian Chili, and the always-entertaining Best Bribe Attempt. Guests can taste entries from across the region before casting their vote for the People’s Choice Award, making everyone part of the competition.
