Sponsored by Lawsons Finest Liquids, this action-packed day will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Killington’s Snowshed Base Area. Whether you’re a first-time downhill rider or a seasoned bike park regular, this is your chance to experience the best of Killington’s 30+ miles of lift-serviced trails while connecting with the vibrant Vermont mountain biking community.
The day kicks off with group rides led by VMBA ambassadors, designed to make everyone feel at home on the trails. Riders can join the “New to DH” ride for downhill beginners or “New to the Resort” for those exploring Killington’s bike park for the first time. These guided rides are a great way to build skills, meet fellow riders, and get familiar with the terrain in a supportive, friendly environment.
One of the event’s highlights is the Lawsons Party Lap, an all-inclusive group ride for bikers of every ability level. Follow the ambassadors on a fun, social lap before heading straight into the lively après party, where raffle prizes will be announced. Speaking of raffles, attendees can enter for a chance to win gear from top outdoor brands like CrankBrothers, Five Ten, Thule, POC, and more—all for just $5 a ticket. Proceeds support local organizations and trail-building efforts, so every entry helps give back to the biking community.
For riders who love a little friendly competition, the day also features timed races on the Lower Rabbit Hole course, with possible chip timing for extra accuracy.
