Mountain biking returns to center stage at Killington Resort as the Maxxis Eastern States Cup Downhill & Enduro races make their way back to Killington Bike Park on July 11th–12th, 2026. As one of the premier gravity mountain biking events in the Northeast, this exciting weekend draws elite racers, amateur competitors, and spectators from across the region to experience some of the fastest and most technical riding Vermont has to offer.
Known as the Thule Showdown, Killington’s stop on the Eastern States Cup circuit has become one of the series’ signature events. Riders will compete in both Downhill and Enduro disciplines, navigating steep descents, rocky terrain, technical features, berms, jumps, and high-speed sections throughout Killington’s world-renowned lift-served bike park. The challenging terrain and scenic mountain backdrop make it one of the most anticipated race weekends of the summer.
The Eastern States Cup is the largest regional mountain bike racing series in the northeastern United States and provides a competitive environment for professional and amateur riders alike.
